MYCARD dan Hak Anda

Ketahui hak anda sebagai pemegang MyCard. Security Guard tiada kuasa mengambil dan menyimpan MyCard anda.

Boleh rujuk peraturan berikut (tahun 1990 lagi !)

Peraturan-Peraturan Pendaftaran Kebangsaan 1990 [P.U. (A) 472/1990]

4.1 Peruntukan Peraturan 7

Peraturan-Peraturan Pendaftaran Kebangsaan 1990 memperuntukkan bahawa hanya seorang pegawai pendaftaran, pegawai polis,pegawai kastam, pegawai tentera atau pegawai lain yang diberi kuasa bertulis oleh Ketua Pengarah Pendaftaran sahaja yang dibenarkan untuk meminta dan memeriksa identiti seseorang dengan mengemukakan kad pengenalan.


4.2 Di bawah Peraturan 8A memperuntukkan bahawa adalah menjadi suatu kesalahan jenayah bagi mana-mana orang selain dari pegawai-pegawai yang dinamakan di peraturan 7 untuk secara tidak munasabahnya menahan kad pengenalan milik orang lain.

Kakitangan awam dengan OSHA 1994

OSHA 1994 diperkenalkan pada tahun  1994 dan skopnya meliputi semua jenis pekerjaan (seperti Jadual 1 akta) dengan mengecualikan perkapalan dan angkatan tentera. Skop OSHA turut merangkumi kakitangan awam.

Akibat kebiasaan kebergantungan kepada Perkeliling, banyak sektor kakitangan awam tidak berapa mempedulikan OSHA 1994. Ini membuatkan KSN Tan Sri Samsudin Osman pada tahun 2004, mengeluarkan Perkeliling kepada SEMUA Kementerian, Jabatan Persekutuan, Kerajaan Negeri, Pihak Berkuasa Berkanun dan Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan dengan arahan mematuhi perundangan OSHA 1994 ini.

Terdapat significant selepas keluarnya perkeliling ini. Bagaimanapun perkeliling ini dilihat membawa dua isu iaitu keselamatan dan kesihatan pekerjaan (OSH) serta isu keselamatan teknologi maklumat ICT. Malah tindakan yang disyorkan di dalam perkeliling ini lebih kepada ke arah ICT. Ini dapat dilihat dengan hampir semua laman web sektor kakitangan awam ini mempunyai Polisi Keselamatan ICT tetapi masih ada laman web kakitangan awam yang masih tiada Polisi Keselamatan dan Kesihatan.


Adakah selepas ini  setelah lebih 20 tahun, KSN perlu mengeluarkan satu lagi perkeliling khusus mengenai pematuhan keselamatan dan kesihatan pekerjaan tanpa “ditumpangi” mana-mana isu lain?
